Part A
Privacy Notice
This notice explains how iMERV Digital Pte. Ltd. (“iMERV”, “we”, “us” or “our”) may collect, use, disclose, protect and retain personal data through imervdigital.com, MERV, our enquiry forms and related public digital services. It should be read with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and any applicable exceptions.
1. Personal data we may collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, business contact details, organisation, role, country, areas of interest, enquiry content, consent records, source page, referral or campaign information, and technical or security information such as browser, device, IP-derived and request data.
If you use MERV, your messages, selected language or topic, conversation context and any information you voluntarily submit through the separate enquiry form may be processed. Please do not enter passport or identity numbers, financial-account details, health information, passwords, confidential contracts, trade secrets, candidate records or other sensitive information into public chat.
2. Why we collect and use data
We may use personal data to respond to enquiries; understand business, recruitment or project requirements; route requests to the appropriate iMERV or Thousand Ships pathway; maintain enquiry and consent records; operate, secure and improve our website and digital services; prevent misuse; meet legal obligations; and establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
We do not treat a general enquiry as consent to receive unrelated marketing. Marketing communications, where used, require an appropriate separate basis or consent and should provide a way to opt out.
3. Consent and withdrawal
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it with reasonable notice by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully and may limit our ability to respond, maintain an engagement or provide a requested service.
4. Disclosure and service providers
We may disclose relevant data on a need-to-know basis to hosting, website, cloud, security, communications, customer-management, analytics and AI service providers; professional advisers; authorised operating partners; or public authorities where required or permitted by law. These parties may process data for the purposes described here and under appropriate contractual, confidentiality or legal obligations.
MERV is an automated public assistant. Messages may be processed by external cloud and AI infrastructure to generate a response, maintain security and support enquiry routing. Do not use MERV as a confidential data room.
5. Overseas processing
Our service providers or partners may process personal data outside Singapore. Where the PDPA applies, we will take reasonable steps to ensure transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the PDPA.
6. Protection and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. No internet or storage system is completely secure.
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the stated business or legal purposes, including enquiry follow-up, relationship history, security, audit, dispute management and legal obligations. Data may then be deleted, anonymised or otherwise de-identified where appropriate.
7. Access, correction and questions
Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent, or ask a privacy question. Contact us through the website contact page or email marvin@marvinfoo.com with the subject “iMERV Privacy Request”. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.
8. Third-party sites and changes
Our pages may link to third-party websites or platforms with their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those external policies or services. We may update this notice to reflect legal, operational or technical changes; the date above identifies the current published version.
Part B
Website Terms of Use
By accessing or using this website, MERV or another public iMERV digital service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
1. Public information and development status
The website describes iMERV Digital, the Thousand Ships / 千船 ecosystem, its six business pillars and B2B platforms at their current stages of development. Availability and commercial details may change, so please confirm current information through an official iMERV Digital communication channel before making a decision.
2. No professional advice or public offer
Website and MERV content is general information only. It is not legal, tax, immigration, engineering, employment, financial or investment advice. It is not an offer, invitation, recommendation or solicitation to buy securities, make an investment or enter a transaction. Obtain independent advice from appropriately qualified and authorised professionals before acting.
3. MERV and automated responses
MERV is an automated public assistant intended to explain available public information and route enquiries. Responses are generated automatically and may become outdated. Important commercial information should be confirmed through an official iMERV Digital communication channel.
4. Enquiries and introductions
Submitting an enquiry starts a conversation. Any service, commercial arrangement or representative role begins only when the parties confirm it in writing through the appropriate iMERV Digital channel.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with security or operation; introduce malicious code; scrape or harvest personal data; impersonate another person or organisation; submit unlawful, misleading or infringing material; or attempt to obtain confidential, restricted or system information through MERV.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, website content, branding, text, graphics, logos, software, platform concepts and the Thousand Ships / 千船 identity are owned by or licensed to iMERV. You may view and share ordinary page links for legitimate purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, commercially exploit, register, license or present our content or marks as your own without prior written permission.
7. Independence and external links
iMERV Digital operates independently. Any partnership, appointment or affiliation is recognised only when confirmed through an official iMERV Digital communication channel. External links are provided for convenience and are subject to the relevant provider’s own content, availability, security and terms.
8. Availability and disclaimers
We may change, suspend or withdraw website content or functionality without notice. To the extent permitted by law, the website and public digital services are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, iMERV is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from reliance on public content, automated responses, external links, service interruption or unauthorised use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Singapore law
These terms follow the laws of Singapore. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, without limiting the parties’ ability to agree on another lawful dispute-resolution process.
11. Contact and updates
Questions about these terms may be submitted through the Contact page. We may update these terms when the website, services or applicable requirements change. Continued use after publication of an updated version constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
