An Evening of Trust, Relationships and New Horizons with Ayala Land #180
An Evening of Trust, Relationships and New Horizons with Ayala Land #180
Some of the most meaningful business conversations happen over dinner, among familiar faces, good food and friendships built over the years.
This evening at voco Orchard Singapore, I enjoyed reconnecting with friends and fellow guests at an event hosted by Ayala Land, alongside members of our Thousand Ships ecosystem.
What made the evening particularly enjoyable was hearing firsthand experiences from Ayala Land clients whom I have known for years. Their appreciation for Ayala Land Premier developments spoke volumes about quality, thoughtful planning and long-term value, particularly for properties appealing to expatriate tenants.
There is something reassuring about hearing from people who have experienced the product themselves, rather than relying solely on marketing presentations.
Beyond real estate, conversations turned towards succession planning, capital and emerging opportunities across the Philippines.
It was equally encouraging to catch up with Thousand Ships team members, who shared updates on capital liaison, investment engagement and commercial structuring for specific resource circularity projects.
Different disciplines, but increasingly connected opportunities.
One interesting question came up:
“Why transact through Thousand Ships Real Estate & Residency Network (TSREN) instead of going directly to the developer?”
A fair question.
We are not merely facilitating property transactions. We are building relationships around a broader journey.
For selected clients, TSREN offers an integrated ecosystem encompassing immigration and visa pathways, residency arrangements, business incorporation, credible local networks and introductions to opportunities within the green economy.
Some opportunities are not publicly marketed. Participation is by invitation, subject to suitability and mutual alignment.
And yes, we are selective about whom we work with.
Good business is as much about knowing whom to work with as recognising the opportunities themselves.
Ayala Land has been supportive of our Philippine engagements in meaningful ways. I look forward to prioritising the group as a key real estate partner for suitable clients across North Asia, North America and Europe.
As our Philippine activities develop, I believe the greatest value comes from connecting established developers, experienced professionals and partners committed to doing things properly.
We ended the evening with a toast to something that matters deeply to me:
Integrity.
Projects may change, markets evolve and opportunities come and go.
But trust, once earned and consistently upheld, sustains relationships across generations.
Thank you to the Ayala team for the hospitality and another memorable evening.
🥂 To enduring friendships, responsible partnerships and the journeys ahead.
